We are looking for a Head Coach who provides technical leadership, further develops the elite sports programme, and works with athletes and staff towards sustainable performance at European Championships, World Championships and the Olympic Games.

What does the role involve?
As Head Coach, you are responsible for the technical direction and development of the national elite programme for women’s gymnastics. You safeguard the coherence, quality and execution of the programme and work closely with coaches and technical staff.
You operate at the intersection of elite sport, development and collaboration: from shaping the programme to coaching at international competitions.

What will you do?

  • Develop and implement the multi-year technical plan and elite sports programme
  • Translate performance goals into training, selection and competition programmes
  • Guide and develop elite athletes, talents and (club) coaches
  • Provide functional leadership to coaches and technical staff
  • Coach the national team at international competitions and championships
  • Prepare selections and compose support teams for international events
  • Monitor performance and adjust the programme and strategy where needed
  • Contribute to a safe, professional and ethical high-performance environment

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s level working and thinking ability\
  • Extensive knowledge of talent development, elite sport and international competitions
  • Proven experience in a high-performance environment, preferably in women’s gymnastics
  • Strong in developing both athletes and coaches
  • Ability to translate vision into concrete results
  • Decisive and able to perform under pressure
  • Collaborative and  rganizationally aware

Salary: scale 12 CAO Sport (€4,918 – €6,900 gross per month based on full-time)
Contract size: 0.8 – 1.0 FTE
Duration: temporary, until the end of the Olympic cycle in 2028
